Weekly Roundup

1. I love this look on What I Wore. It is exactly what I want to wear to a summer picnic and day at the park with Nate!

2. Check out the Ultimate Beach Bag. It holds all your gear for the entire family, including 6 beach towels. We’re not going to the beach anytime soon, but I think I should get this as a future investment. Now, what colour to choose…

3. Lots of interesting information this week about birthrates in Ireland. Us foreign mommies make up 24%! Lot’s of multi-cultural children! This should be fun!

We’re back with our round up of things that brought joy to our little house this week.

1. I’m in love with this herb stand from Ubode, but don’t have the counter top space for it (with all the baby paraphernalia around the kitchen). I’ll just have to visit it when I’m having a delicious lunch in the cafe.

2. This makes me want twins only to make a nerdy shortcut joke.

3. I am really excited about this lovely eyelet trimmed slip I found on Etsy. It will be perfect for giving me a little extra length to my summer dresses.

4. Watch out for the Angry Mop!

Weekly Roundup

Sorry we missed last week’s roundup. It has been busy around here with crafting, teething and holiday planning. But here are a few things that brought us joy and made us giggle (a lot!) during teething tears.

1. Wacky Japanese commerical for something features an incredibly realistic dog costume. What your dog doesn’t do this?

2. This little boy made a new friend with an otter. I can totally see Nate doing this when he’s bigger.

3. Precious Slovakian newborns are listening to Motzart with giant headphones to help them relax when their mothers are not around.

4. Little Eleanor’s room if finally unveiled on Making it Lovely. If you want a piece of her lovely style in your home, download the Que Sera Sera print for free. Thanks Nicole!

Weekly Roundup

Here are some things that brought joy into the Dare household this week.

1. Bert has appeared in pro-Bin Laden rallies. Something’s amis on the Street.

2. Some people may think this video of a massive line for the opening of a burger joint exemplifies American gluttony. But y’all know I’m a Texan gal, so I find it hilarious. The only thing I find distasteful is that the line is for Californian In-and-Out (okay, they are good burgers) and not good ole Texan Whataburger (the best burgers South Texas ever produced!)

3. Disassemble. Amazing photographs of things disassembled. Beautiful in their simplicity and methodical organisation (something my life is not).

4. Eurovision. Mostly because I find the continent pretty amusing.

Here are some things that brought joy into the Dare household this week.

1. I am going to make it my new goal in life to visit all 10 best UK ice cream joints, especially to see that the amazing deco building in Scotland.

2. This rainbow doodle cake is one of the loveliest things I’ve ever seen. How fun would it be to have it at your party!

3. Nate’s appointment to become a US Citizen is booked. So glad that this guy is the president that Nate was born to.

4. Here at the Dare residence we love us some Beastie Boys and we think their new video for Make Some Noise is pretty rad.

Weekly Roundup

Here are some things that brought joy into the Dare household this week.

1. This didn’t exactly bring joy. More like confusion and mild disgust, but I just had to share banana sculpture.

2. Sometimes I am so proud to be an American, espeically when we make monkeys riding dogs herd goats. Yes that’s right. Monkeys. Riding Dogs. Herding Goats.

3. A new late-night, family friendly coffee shop opened in Dublin City Centre. We love family friendly and will be checking out Accents Lounge soon!

4. And yet another 4 day week for Chris. Hooray!

Weekly Round Up

Here are some things that brought joy into the Dare household this week.

1. I don’t have any good excuse for this, but I think I need a giant Hello sign.

2. Two things I love, pizza and flags. That’s why I think these pizza flags are amazing!

3. More Royal Wedding amusement: knit your own Royal Wedding party.

4. Did you grow up with Jenny Lind? Here’s a little history about the woman behind the iconic baby bed.

Weekly Round-Up

Here are some things that brought joy to the Dare household this week.

1. Top iPhone apps for babies and toddlers. As if I’d ever let those mucky fingers touch my (imaginary) iPhone!

2. While I am loving Nate and his curious, Ba-baing 8 month stage, I am looking forward to really playing and sorting coloured buttons in a muffin tin

3. Holy blackout curtains, Batman! With the lighter evenings, we finally got Nate proper curtains and turned his little room into the Batcave. We love the star curtains from Littlewoods (free shipping and it arrived in 2 days!)

4. Someone found a mango jelly bean that looks like Kate Middleton. That’s it. No punch line.
